About Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers is an annual rating service of the nation’s attorneys. The selection process begins with a nomination from a fellow attorney. Candidates then are evaluated on 12 indicators of professional achievement.

After independent research, a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys in the same practice area chooses roughly 5 percent of a state’s attorneys for Super Lawyers. Rising Stars is limited to about 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys.
