John Gettys selected for Furman’s Riley Institute program

John Gettys, a partner with Morton & Gettys, Attorneys at Law, is one of 44 leaders selected to participate in the 10th Midlands class of the Riley Institute at Furman’s Diversity Leaders Initiative this spring.

The DLI program trains participants to understand their diversity and inclusion “blind spots” and how to suspend assumptions. They come away with focused decision-making skills and deep knowledge of how to effectively manage and lead increasingly diverse workers, clients and constituents.

“We are encouraged for the future of this state with the addition of each new class of Fellows because of their commitment to positive change and dedicated efforts to see it through,” said Dr. Don Gordon, executive director of the Riley Institute.
