Morton & Gettys welcomes attorney Mary Stamato
ROCK HILL, SC – Mary Stamato, a skilled attorney licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, has joined Morton & Gettys. She will focus on civil litigation and family law.
Mary will represent clients in real estate, probate, and collection litigation. Her practice also will include divorce and separation, child support, and child custody.
Mary is a graduate of the National Family Law Trial Institute. Through that intensive program, she learned advanced litigation skills from noted national family law attorneys, judges, and forensics experts. The training incorporated all aspects of trial law, including case development, opening statements, evidence, and closing arguments.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Mary has practiced for more than three years. While attending law school, she worked with the Education Rights Clinic as a student attorney. She also served as staff editor for the “Journal of Law and Education.”
Mary’s bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and English language and literature is from the College of Charleston.
