Super Lawyers selected Owen for this honor after a stringent review.

The selection process starts with peer nominations, followed by independent research that assesses lawyers in 12 areas. Evaluations from colleagues in the same practice areas also are included. Rising Stars honors go to attorneys who have practiced less than 10 years or are younger than 40. Only about 2.5 percent of the lawyers nominated earn Rising Star honors each year.
