Attorney Trent Womble admitted to Florida Bar

ROCK HILL, SC – Trent Womble now is licensed to practice law in Florida, making him the third Morton & Gettys attorney to hold law licenses in three states.

All told, more than half of the Morton & Gettys attorneys are licensed in at least one other state in addition to South Carolina. They are:

  • Dan Ballou: Texas.
  • Bev Carroll: North Carolina.
  • Malissa Cassell: North Carolina, Georgia.
  • Heath Myers: North Carolina.
  • Joe’Terrious Neal: North Carolina.
  • Nate Pierce: North Carolina.
  • Trent Womble: North Carolina, Florida.
  • Ashley Worrell: North Carolina, Georgia.

These credentials are a significant benefit for the firm’s clients.

With Rock Hill’s proximity to Charlotte, it’s not uncommon for clients’ matters to cross state lines. When businesses hire Morton & Gettys, they have the advantage of knowing that the attorney they’ve come to rely on also can represent them in North Carolina.

That creates legal efficiency and expedience, saving both money and time needed to bring another lawyer up to speed. The Morton & Gettys Business & Corporate Law Team, with five attorneys licensed in multiple states, also is positioned well to advise on potential legal issues with multi-state projects from the start, thus avoiding costly and frustrating complications down the road.
