Public radio examines 1990 murder case

In 2014, Morton & Gettys co-founder Jim Morton had a chance to set things right. A former prosecutor, he stood beside Doug O’Neal during a parole hearing and told the board that he believed O’Neal wasn’t guilty of the crime for which Morton had argued for conviction.

At the end of that hearing, O’Neal was freed from prison.

South Carolina Public Radio tells this quarter-century-old story of angels and demons, faith and redemption and, ultimately, forgiveness. Read about it here.
