Morton & Gettys attorneys teach at Law School for Non-Lawyers

ROCK HILL,  SC – Morton & Gettys attorneys Nate Pierce and Heath Myers recently shared their legal knowledge with the community by donating their time to help teach at the York Technical College’s Law School for Non-Lawyers.

The goal of the program, sponsored by the South Carolina Bar, is to help lay people better understand legal issues that could affect them. The eight-week course offers insight into 16 areas, from family law to wills.

Heath taught real estate law, while Nate taught landlord-tenant law.

Both Rock Hill natives, Nate and Heath have wide-ranging practices at Morton Gettys.

Nate is part of the Business & Corporate Law team that helps companies of all sizes with legal representation and counsel. His practice also includes commercial real estate and civil litigation.

Heath, who is licensed in North Carolina as well as South Carolina, practices probate law, including estate planning. He also represents clients in residential real estate matters.
