ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – An experienced attorney who’s licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Ashley N. Worrell has joined Morton & Gettys as an associate. She’ll focus her practice on commercial real estate and corporate law.

She joins a commercial real estate team that includes two other attorneys licensed in multiple states, allowing them to better serve Morton & Gettys clients with complex issues involving more than one jurisdiction. Additionally, Worrell is a licensed real estate broker. This allows her to offer clients a wider range of services.

In eight years of practice, Worrell has been responsible for countless residential and commercial purchases and refinances. She’s negotiated contracts and leases for corporate clients as well as for individuals. She’s helped homebuilders obtain entitlements for subdivisions, and she’s drafted covenants, conditions, and restrictions for homeowners’ associations.

She’s closed hundreds of refinance transactions and reviewed just as many preliminary and final title opinions.

Worrell offers Morton & Gettys clients the complete package of services they need to take any commercial real estate project from start to finish, from land acquisition to financing to leasing. She also can counsel clients regarding real estate disputes and title issues.

A graduate of the Charlotte School of Law, Worrell holds a bachelor’s in government and sociology from the University of Virginia. She also attended the University of Westminster in London during a summer study abroad program.
