A certified paralegal since 2009, Senior Paralegal Leah McCraney works with Morton & Gettys attorneys in personal injury and civil litigation. She began working for the firm in 2006 as a part-time runner and joined Morton & Gettys full-time in 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, and earned her paralegal certificate at Georgetown University in August 2009.

As part of her current duties at Morton & Gettys, Leah works closely with new litigation clients, discussing their cases and matching them with the attorney who will best serve their needs. Additionally, Leah drafts pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses. She regularly communicates with clients as their case progresses.

Leah was born in Rock Hill and has lived here most of her life. She has been involved in the local community, serving as a Team Leader for Come-See-Me Festival and as a Planning Council Member of Leadership York County, through the York County Chamber.
