Eight from Morton & Gettys included in 2026 edition of Best Lawyers
The new, just-released Best Lawyers in America guide includes a record showing for Morton & Gettys, with eight attorneys earning honors in the 2026 edition of the national directory and its companion piece, Best Lawyers: One to Watch.
Most of the recognized attorneys were listed in more than one practice area. Many of the honors came for the firm’s litigation work across a range of disciplines, and the attorneys earned recognition in a broad range of other practices as well. This includes family law, real estate law, employment law, trust and estates, and criminal law. The breadth of that list speaks well to the wide variety of personal and business legal services Morton & Gettys is able to offer clients.

The 2026 edition continues Morton & Gettys’ long history of success in the peer-reviewed publication. John Gettys and Josh Vann have been included in nine consecutive editions of the national directory.
Additionally, the companion publication, Best Law Firms in America, has highlighted Morton & Gettys yearly for almost a decade. Firms that have at least one attorney listed in Best Lawyers are eligible for inclusion. The 2026 edition of Best Law Firms will be released in November.
