Nine Morton & Gettys attorneys are highlighted across a dozen practice areas in the latest edition of “Best Lawyers in America®” and its companion piece, “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.”

The 2027 update of the national directory is another record showing for Morton & Gettys. The wide-ranging honors reflect the depth and breadth of the firm’s capabilities, with recognition in practice areas such as real estate, employment law, family law, trusts and estates, and corporate law-related disciplines.

Morton & Gettys has a long history of inclusion in “Best Lawyers.” Gettys and Vann have been honored in every edition since 2018. Similarly, Morton & Gettys has been highlighted as a Tier 1 in the Rock Hill area for seven consecutive editions of “Best Law Firms in America.” That companion piece to “Best Lawyers” is released annually in November.

The “Best Lawyers” selection process begins with a nomination, followed by an evaluation from peer attorneys in the same practice areas and same city. The “Best Lawyers” staff conducts independent research before making the final selections. The goal is to create a comprehensive guide to the leading attorneys in the country
